4 Tips for Growing a Cryotherapy Instagram in 2019
by Jay Houston.
In the last few months, I’ve helped drastically grow 4 cryotherapy Instagram accounts (3 local businesses, 1 global) and thought I’d share some tips for cryo entrepreneurs.
First, check out what we were able to do for Andersonville Cryotherapy (Chicago) in their first month:
Sure, the numbers are great. Profile visits skyrocketed. Almost 600 new followers. But what really matters is that we were able to get customers in their doors through Instagram, despite Andersonville Cryo only posting content twice a month.
Check out our Case Studies page for more info on the cryo location’s we work with and if you appreciate the content, please follow Andersonville Cryotherapy on Instagram. Which leads us into our first tip for growing a Cryotherapy Instagram in 2019!
1. EXTERNAL SOURCING
Make sure to use external sources to send people to your Instagram profile. Check to see if your Instagram link is easily accessible on your website, put a link in all of your employees email signatures, re-direct Facebook traffic, or even create a blog post directing cryo traffic. 😉
Do not, I repeat, do NOT buy followers on Instagram. Not only does Instagram purge these accounts on a regular basis, but they also penalize your content by not giving it as much reach in the hashtag feeds… And that’s only the beginning. Building local, authentic followers is the way to drive sales to your cryo business.
2. ENGAGEMENT
Like, follow, unfollow, comment, DM, like comments, watch stories…. There are dozens of ways to engage on Instagram with people in your area. Consistent daily engagement is the secret to organic growth. Shameless plug, but that’s where Instagrinder can save you hundreds of hours every month.
If you have an extra 6 hours a day to kill then you can handle this yourself, of course. But, did you know there are fluctuating engagement limits to your Instagram account based on it’s age? That’s right. Your engagement limits are determined by how old your account is. Getting temporarily suspended for going beyond your limits can reduce the reach of your content and other penalties.
If you want more information on how we can help with your engagement, shoot us a message in the bottom right corner.
3. ENCOURAGE PICS IN THE CRYOSAUNA
And give your clients perks for posting it on Instagram and tagging your business! Need I say more!?
4. CALL TO ACTION
The goal for your Instagram should be to build your brand, grow your audience, and convert followers into sales. You can’t expect your Instagram content to produce results if you aren’t motivating your audience. I’m baffled at how few cryo locations post call-to-action content on their Instagram feed. If you’re one of these locations, step up your game and make the most out of your social media! It’s where everyone’s attention is…
